These Potion Lights Are Just Straight Up Cool

So I was at ACD Expo last month and came across these potion bottle lights at the Enhance Gaming booth, and now I'm honestly considering them to be my sole light source for future D&D sessions. They’re these little frosted glass style bottles with swirling liquid inside that light up in different colors, and yeah, they look like something you’d find in a wizard’s backpack.

Vox Link: A cool new app on Kickstarter to help gamers find games.

So this is pretty cool. These guys are designing an app for iOS and Android to make trolling Facebook to try to find people to play games with a thing of the past. It's still early on in development, but from the looks of things, it's gonna let you filter by game, location, AND level of play (because as a casual player it's never fun to get stomped by by someone who lives, breathes, sweats, and bleeds 40K)

Some light shines through the darkness in the form of an EPIC favor from WotC.

So, if you guys are huge tabletop gaming nerds like me, this whole quarantine thing has probably got you bummed. I mean, yea, the virtual tabletop options are pretty cool, and they work great, but it's just not the same as meeting up with a bunch of friends, buying fifty pounds of snacks, and rocking out against the Big Bad in the comfort of your friends living room. Well, apparently the dudes over at Wizards of the Coast felt our pain, because they just decided to do us a pretty cool favor.

For the first time ever, Wizards is releasing one of their multi-table convention only(mostly) Adventurers League Epic adventures!

Getting together with Great Flats Brewing for an awesome Game Night

In my opinion, nothing pairs better with beer than board games. Having friends over, having a couple beers, and playing a few games of Coup, Flux, Red Dragon Inn, or Twilight Imperium has made for some of my favorite and most memorable nights.

But why should it stop with just me and my friends? That's why I decided to approach the good people at Great Flats Brewing to see if we could organize an amazing night full of beer, friends, and games that everyone in the community can join in on. And sure enough, we made it happen.
